FDA Regulations on E-cigs Announced

08 May, 2016

Here's a link to a great article that explains why the new regulations equal a slow ban on ecigs.

It also highlights why it is so important that we demand our representatives support HR2058.

Well, it's finally here. The final rule from the FDA for ecig regulation has been announced. All 499 pages of it. What does this mean to our industry? A lot! This is essentially a de facto ban of all of the current products on the market within the next two years. There is a lot of information out there explaining why so I won't rehash it all here. Here's an example:

We, as a community, have to make our voices heard. The time is now. Please use resources like CASAA.org - The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association and SFATA to stay informed. They have experts that understand and can explain what our options are.

For the time being, while all of this is being sorted out, there is something we can all do. Write, call, or email your representatives in Congress and ask them to support HR2058! Click the link below for more information!

SmokeScreen is NOT going away. We believe in the products we sell and the good they do for people. I know every other vape company feels the same way, both locally and nationally. We will work within the new regulations but will continue to fight to save the products we all use every day!
